Resume de l’article : Limiter le déclin musculaire des astronautes avec des traitements
Article: « Des muscles envoyés dans l’espace et ont été préservés grâce à des médicaments »
Response:
Muscles from mice were sent to the International Space Station for a 28-day period to observe the effects of microgravity on muscle atrophy. The muscles were treated with a combination of two drugs, one of which was a myostatin inhibitor. Myostatin is a protein that inhibits muscle growth. The results showed that the muscles treated with the drugs had 60-70% less muscle atrophy compared to the control group. These findings suggest that the use of myostatin inhibitors could help mitigate muscle loss during space travel.
