Several private companies have entered into partnerships with NASA to develop lunar exploration technologies. These companies include SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Astrobotic Technology. SpaceX and Blue Origin, founded by Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, respectively, are developing their own lunar landers. Astrobotic Technology, on the other hand, has been contracted by NASA to deliver scientific payloads to the moon by 2023. All of these efforts are part of NASA’s Artemis program, which aims to land astronauts on the moon by 2024.
