Resume de l’article : Mars est bombardée de météorites presque quotidiennement

Mars is bombarded by meteorites almost daily, and this is about 100 times greater than the rate of impacts on Earth. This is based on data collected by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter’s space weather detectors, which have detected thousands of meteoroids and other particles entering the Martian atmosphere since 2006. The majority of these particles are too small to survive the impact and reach the surface, but they still provide a way to study the rate of meteoroid impacts on the red planet. The study of these impacts can help scientists better understand the early solar system and the evolution of planets like Mars.
